Mountain view from a pavilion on Chiniuling
Advanced hike · ★★★We do not recommend going without a guide

Chiniuling viewpoints and hiking area

Chiniuling rises east of the Hengchun valley, with ridge views over Longluantan, the plain and the surrounding coast. Treat it as an advanced outing, not a casual walk.

NOTICE

Before you go

Do not attempt a through-hike until the trailhead, access rights, route condition, offline track and opening status are confirmed. Go with someone who knows the route; avoid solo or night hiking, caves and closed areas.

Rain, typhoons, seasonal winds and management measures can change trail conditions. Choose another route if an official closure is posted, signs are unclear or the weather is unstable.
